Why Privacy Policy?

Google Play rules requires any application that uses sensitive permissions like Camera or Location access to describe how data obtained via these devices are processed. These sensitive permissions are generally required by the "note" feature - you can now take photos, videos, audio recordings, attach you position etc.

So, how BeerChart processes my personal data?

It does not. Data are simply stored to your SD card or internal phone memory in unencrypted form. The data are accessed by BeerChart only when you want to show it. You can share whole or part of the note to third party via share function, then the processing of your data depends on the third party rules (FaceBook, email recipient etc).

Permissions usage description

Here you can find why BeerChart requires given permission and what functionality it is used for.

• WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE - needed to store taken photos, videos, recordings, sketches and database backups to SD card.
• ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION - you can add current or any other location to the note. So to add current location, BeerChart needs to know it.
• ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION - the finer current location is, the better.
• RECORD_AUDIO - needed for taking audio recording and attaching it to a note.
• CAMERA - needed for taking photos and video recordings and attaching it to a note.
• GOOGLE_PHOTOS - needed for attaching a photo taken earlier to a note.
• ACCESS_WIFI_STATE - needed to see, if Google drive upload can be done, when it is allowed only via WiFi.
